Cabbage-Paneer Paratha

When Anu said she made cabbage paratha, I thought thats cool, I can do something different with this vegetable that Iam bored of making just curry and kootu.. Also, paratha doesn't have to be just aloo,gobi or mooli right? .. so tried this with my own revisions, and it came out pretty good! . I decided to use the red cabbage instead of white ( i always feel that the red one is more tasty) and added some paneer to her original recipe.

2 cups of finely chopped cabbage
1 onion chopped finely
4 green chilles
1 cup of grated paneer
1tspn chilli poswdwer
1/2 tspn cumin seeds
1tspn garam masala
1tspn oil
1/2 tspn ginger ,garlic paste.
salt to taste


-> Heat the oil and add the cumin seeds, onion ginger -garlic paste and the green chillies.
-> when onion turns golden brown, add the cabbage.
-> when cabbage looks cooked (which is usually in aroudn 3-4 mintues.),add the paneer, chilli powder,salt and garam masala.
-> Cook for about 3 minutes and take from stove and let the curry cool.
-> Stuff sufficient in each chappathi dough and roll out to make cabbage paratha!
